Alston Wright from CHASING FOREVER DOWN

Alston Wright is the second bodyguard of Colby Taylor. He's extremely hot, but he knows it too. He likes to party, is a major flirt, wears brightly colored swim trunks, and has a tattoo hidden under his shirt. Most people see him as a player because he flirts with so many different girls, but he can't help it! Having to keep a secret like Colby Taylor's means he can't let people in. No one can find out the truth from him, so he's not able to have a committed relationship. Fortunately for Alston, he gets to have somewhat of a real relationship with Haley's BFF Linzi while they search for Colby in the wonderfully beautiful town of Crescent Cove!

Find out more about Alston in CHASING FOREVER DOWN now! :)

After seventeen-year-old Haley Sullivan meets a mysterious stranger who plays by his own rules, she's more than determined to learn every trick of the trade from the master himself. But her dream-chasing mentor disappears after that night, and according to the local newspapers, he's been dead for years. Knowing he's very much alive, Haley enlists best friend Linzi to join her on a scavenger-hunt-style road trip that ultimately lands them in the surf town of Crescent Cove, California. Mystery guy is no mystery here, though – he's Colby Taylor, the west coast's biggest professional surfer.

If Haley wants to talk to the wave rider again, she'll have to get past his four intimidating "bodyguards" who are highly skilled in the business of sending starstruck fangirls back to where they belong. Haley is up for the challenge if it means chasing her dreams and escaping the perfectly corporate future that's been planned for her. But dealing with these bodyguards isn't exactly what Haley imagined it'd be. Sure, being thrown off a jet ski sucks, but falling in love with one of them might just be worse.

Reed Strickland from CHASING FOREVER DOWN

You know those genuinely nice guys who you just can't help but love? That's Reed. He's cute, nice, and pretty dang smart. He works at his family's boating store, but he's also one of Colby Taylor's "bodyguards"! He's not very good at being a bodyguard, though. He's just too dang nice for the job, but he really is good to have around. I mean he does know all the Crescent Cove/Colby Taylor secrets, and he's just the guy to ask about them.
If you guys haven't gotten a copy of CHASING FOREVER DOWN by Nikki Godwin yet, you should! Reed may just become one of your book boyfriends! ;)

Welcome To Crescent Cove!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been absent for the past three days. I was busy with holiday stuff Tuesday and Wednesday, and yesterday I went with my best friend to look at bridesmaids dresses (she's getting married in May), so I haven't had time to update!

Now on to more 40 days of Chasing Forever Down. Today I set our scene.

Crescent Cove is the beautiful beach town in Nikki's book. Imagine crescent moons, stars, and beautifulness everywhere you turn! There are sexy surfers walking down the road. The beach is shimmering like a jewel in the background, and you can hear the wave rolling in. As you walk down the strip, you can find anything you're looking for! There's booths selling shell jewelry, sun catchers, and if you look closely, you may stumble upon Emily the Enchanter's booth where she sells her dark, handmade, non-evil voodoo like dolls.

You'll want to stop by Strickland's Boating of course. (Ask for Reed. No, don't. He'll be working.) Anything water related can be found there! Jet skis, snorkeling kits, parasailing, yachts. Everything...except maybe surfboards.

If you're interested in purchasing a surfboard, make sure to stop by Drenaline Surf! You can also pick up super cute bikinis there. Well, just make sure you stop by there regardless!

In Crescent Cove you never know who or what you'll find! You may meet your very best friend or quite possibly a boyfriend! You may find a couple of Hooligans lurking around. If you're lucky, you may even find the dream you've been dying to chase.

So go buy a copy of CHASING FOREVER DOWN by Nikki Godwin! You'll enjoy every second you're in Crescent Cove!

Most of all, Chasing Forever Down is about having the courage to find and chase your dreams. Let's not do it quite like Colby Taylor did, though, okay? ;)

You're Invited To Crescent Cove!

Hey guys! As most of you know, I blogged about my sister's book American Girl On Saturn for 31 days to give you guys some behind the scenes information about the book and little random facts about the characters before the book was released. Nikki's debut book Chasing Forever Down is going on tour on January 13th with Oops! I Read A Book Again Blog Tours (if you guys haven't signed up for the tour, you seriously need to! This is not a book you want to miss out on!) Chasing Forever Down is my absolute favorite book ever (no, I am not just saying that because my sister wrote it. I am dead serious. #MilesGarrettForever!), and I decided that I wanted to give you guys a look into the book, characters, and Nikki's crazy mind! I welcome you guys to join me as I vacation for 40 days in the beautiful beach town of Crescent Cove!

Happy Release Day to Christina Channelle & Reap!

I'm one of the lucky ones who got to read an advanced copy of REAP, and I loved it. It was dark and mysterious with some awesome twists. I can't say too much, but my review will be up on Halloween day during Reap's tour! I will tell you that I gave it 5/5 stars! Thank you to Christina Channelle and Ashley Torbeck for letting me participate in Reap's release day blitz! All info for Reap is below, including an awesome giveaway that Christina is having. Make sure you check it out! You want this book! ;)

Title: Reap
Genre: Young Adult Paranormal Romance
Page Count: 92
Blurb: Foreign, or rather unfamiliar, would be the word I would use to describe how I felt.

Faintly, I could hear the glimmer of voices surrounding me in this dark haze, caressing my ears like skin against silk. I felt like I was in a cocoon of sorts, protectively enveloped, quietly drifting in some far-off place. I wanted to stay that way forever.

But we all know that what you want never really seems to happen in the real world.

Something’s not right in Mia’s head.

The first thing is that her name isn’t Mia. In fact, she has no clue what her name is—who she is. All that she knows is that she’s not like the ones who found her: Dante with his kind blue eyes, Amy with her child-like demeanor, James with his questioning gaze.

And Briggs.

The one she cannot decipher no matter how hard she tries.

As Mia tries to fit in with these people, a strange occurrence is amidst outside. And as she finally remembers who she is …

Well, let’s just say that things get a little more complicated.

Reap – Excerpt

I opened my eyes but had to squeeze them shut against the harsh lights. My lids felt swollen, heavy with fatigue. My eyes burned, tears leaking from their corners.
It was the most uncomfortable of feelings.
I must have been dreaming.
“Hello?”
Although the word seemed alien to me, almost as if I had never heard it before, I instantly understood its meaning. The voice that had spoken was warm, making me feel as if I were suddenly sitting in front of a fireplace, wrapped in a heavy blanket, flames crackling. The heat of the word practically licked my skin.
Again, I tried opening my eyes, this time a bit more cautiously. Blinking, I slowly adjusted to the artificial lights, now able to see.
I found myself staring back into a pair of bright blue eyes, a look of wariness in their depths. For a brief moment I couldn’t look away as I stared up at him. Then he cleared his throat and glanced away, as if uncomfortable with my gaze. With the spell of his eyes broken, it was then that I noticed I was lying on the ground—no, on hardwood floor.
And with not one, but three interested faces peering down at me.
I sat up, then winced at the abruptness of my movement, bringing my hand to the back of my head.
Pain, my mind whispered.
“Careful now.”
I directed my eyes toward the person who had spoken such kind words. It was the first person I had noticed, the one with the blue eyes and the warm voice. His voice was deep and calming, and as I sat there I tried to think of the emotion I should be experiencing. Inhaling softly, I closed my eyes, ignored the painful throb in my head, and waited for the proper term to flutter into my mind.
Gratitude.
“Where did you come from?”
Satisfied I had found the correct word, I opened my eyes again to the voice speaking to me. It was a pleasant voice, reassuring to say the least, and immediately captured my attention.
At that moment, I didn’t notice the black hair atop his head, a striking contrast against his blue eyes that looked like I was staring into an ocean. I didn’t notice that the corners of his eyes crinkled up when he smiled kindly at me, complementing the single dimple in his right cheek. By just looking at him, anyone could tell that he was someone who knew how to laugh. But I didn’t notice any of that.
All those things I would notice later.
I stared at the corner of his lips as he continued to speak, not toward me, but to the others present in the room. “Guys … I don’t think she understands a word I’m saying,” he mumbled softly, as if afraid I’d be insulted at the notion of not comprehending him.
“I like her,” stated the girl kneeling next to him. She looked quite outrageous wearing a short black dress with a black choker wrapped around her neck, pink shiny embezzlements adorning it. Her white-blonde hair was extremely long, almost past her lower back, as the ends brushed the floor. I directed my gaze to her face and found blue eyes staring down at me.
Her eyes were identical to the man’s.
“It’s always the silent ones we should be weary of.” The words themselves were harsh, but as I looked to my right I was greeted by a kind smile with equally kind brown eyes behind wire-framed glasses. They belonged to a man casually sitting on a couch, his shoulder-length dark brown hair tied back. As he continued to stare, he tilted his head to the side as if analyzing a computer software program that wouldn’t work properly.
I guess I was the computer software program.
“James, help me out, will you?” the man with the blue eyes asked calmly. The man on the couch, James, stood up and slowly sauntered over to my side, then both he and the blue-eyed man grabbed my arms and brought me to my feet. I didn’t protest, shuffling alongside them as we entered a kitchen, where they placed me on a wooden chair next to a table.
Sinking down into the hard chair, I averted my eyes downwards and focused on a crack on the wooden table. I knew I was still being stared at, three pairs of eyes boring holes into the crown of my head.
It was difficult not to look up but I managed. I needed a distraction, so I started to trace the crack on the table instead, feeling the texture of the wood as it scraped against my skin.
I find wood to be … quite rough in manner.
“Here you go.” That calming voice spoke once again and I looked up to find a glass of orange juice placed in front of me. It was in that instant that I realized that I was thirsty. I reached for the glass, instinctively bringing the rim to my lips. The juice was cool down my throat.
Refreshing.
This was familiar: the taste of juice in my mouth. Closing my eyes, I licked my lips slowly, trying to memorize this feeling. Perhaps if I stayed like this long enough, I would be brought back to that time of familiarity….
“Yo, Briggs!” James’ voice beamed through the kitchen and I startled, setting the glass on the table, the clanking of the glass hitting the wood almost palpable to my ears. I hadn’t noticed the front door had opened—I believe an apartment building was where we were located—and a new presence had entered the living room. I looked over to where he stood by the stairs, utterly still. Although we were indoors, he wore sunglasses. And even though I couldn’t see his eyes, I knew they stared directly at me, hard as stone.
He didn’t like me.
If the man with the blue eyes was warm like a fire on a cold winter day, this man was like the wood I had just caressed: rough, jagged.

Broken.

Interview with Spaceships Around Saturn's bodyguard Tank Rodriguez (from American Girl On Saturn)

Spaceships Around Saturn's head bodyguard Tank Rodriguez joins us today! :)

Hi! What is it like being the bodyguard for a super famous boyband?

It's cool. It's like just hanging out with the guys all the time. The girls are crazy, though. And loud.

You're not much older than the SAS boys themselves, are you? What made you decide to get into the business of being a bodyguard?

Not much. I'm only 24. I worked security in a night club in college, and then I got offered a bodyguard position for a rap star - who shall remain nameless - but that lifestyle was a bit much. A boyband seemed safer. HA! Joke's on me, right?

I know you're probably not allowed to answer this question, but which of the SAS boys is your favorite?

Ah, c'mon now. I can't answer that. They're my boys! But uh, if anyone's curious, Benji and I hit the clubs and tattoo parlors together a lot.

Do you ever rock out to their music?

Only during live shows, rehearsals, and when they feel the need to burst into song at random times/places. I tend to listen to more rap/hiphop.

How does being a bodyguard affect your personal life?

I don't have a lot of free time. When the guys are touring or doing promo events, I'm right there, tagging along. But it's cool. Like I said, it's like hanging with the guys all the time, and there are tons of hot girls. It's not a bad life. I wouldn't get to see all these places otherwise.

Were you anywhere near the stage when the shooting happened in NYC?

I was offstage, waiting in the wings. The venue's security were actually on the floor, maintaining the crowd. I was just chilling and watching the show then BOOM!

How closely were you watched while the boys were on lockdown?

Man, the government don't play! They guarded all of us (crew) pretty well so we wouldn't talk to the press or leak information, especially since we knew where the guys were. They always made me wear a wire when I saw the guys. We were pretty much on lockdown too. They had us holed up in a fancy hotel. It got pretty boring. I think the guys had more fun than I did!

I'm going to end this with a very random question. It seems like the one question that is in the majority of interviews and things is the one thing I never put in any of my interviews.... What's your favorite color?

Black! It looks good and matches everything!

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hear from sources that we'll be seeing a bit more of you in the world of Saturn! I can't wait! ;)

Interview with Chloe Branson's Ex-friends Paige and Lauren (from American Girl On Saturn)

Today I had the chance to talk to Chloe Branson's Ex-friends Paige and Lauren.

Sooooo.... There's been some rumors that you two treated Chloe very poorly during her time on lockdown with the SAS boys. What do you two have to say for yourselves?

L: I only saw her once. She skipped my party, remember?
P: Well, Chloe wasn't exactly honest with me about some things. How was I supposed to know?

How do you two feel now that Chloe is dating THE Milo Grayson?

L: No comment.
P: What Lauren said. *sigh*

Have you tried getting in touch with Chloe since the lockdown has ended?

L: No, she unfriended me on Facebook and blocked me. We weren't that great of friends anyway.
P: I've tried calling her so many times, but she changed her number.

Were either of you amongst the group of screaming girls awaiting the boys' exit from the house?

L: No. Never.
P: I wasn't screaming. I was only there to see if it was true!

Now Paige... There's been some... controversy about how you in particular treated the oldest Branson sister (like how you went about tagging her in multiple pictures of....you know what). If you could say anything to her now, what would it be?

P: I hope she knows that I didn't know what was going on with her. I knew something wasn't right, but she didn't even hint anything. She should've at least told me that something was up but she couldn't explain... or something. But you know, she was over her ex, and he *was* free game. There's no law against it.

Any word on how Deacon McCullough feels about his ex-girlfriend dating Mr. Grayson?

P: I don't know.
L: He hasn't talked to us since Up, Up, & Away. He's dating some new girl now.

Well, it's pretty obvious that you two are terrible friends, but thanks for joining anyway.

Interview With Darby McMillon from Darby's Daily Dose of Drama (from American Girl on Saturn)

In American Girl On Saturn, Darby's name popped up quite a lot because Chloe loved to watch Darby's Daily Dose of Drama. We never actually got to meet Darby though. So today she joins me on my blog with some information about what's going on now with her life and the Saturn boys!

Hi! I've heard from different sources that you have been a Saturnite long before the SAS boys even had an album out for the world to hear. How did that happen?

Hi! Thank you for having me! I'm so excited. I'm usually on the opposite side of interviews, so this is really exciting for me! I actually discovered SAS via YouTube, before they made it big. They were self-promoting, trying to gain some momentum before their album, and I stumbled across them. Aside from their beautiful faces, these boys could definitely sing! I subscribed to their channel, and here we are today.

What drew you to this group in particular?

Honestly? No one knew who they were. I love discovering a new band/singer who the world doesn't know about yet, especially when they're super talented like SAS. It's sort of a special feeling, like they're just yours because no one else knows about them.

Now it's no secret that you are Tate Kingsley's biggest fan. But it is rumored that you actually got to meet the cute Canadian boy recently. How did that go over?

Oh gosh, yes, don't even get me started on Tate Kingsley! I was supposed to be meeting Chloe for lunch one day while she was in Cali (the guys were recording, so she flew in to see Milo). She reserved us a table in the back - super nice restaurant too! - and she showed up with SAS's head bodyguard, Tank, and then Milo and Tate walked in behind him, and OMGGGG I thought I was going to die. Do you hear me? DIE - like heart attack on the spot kind of death. The guys were super nice, though, and Tate is as adorable, sweet, and funny in person as I always thought he'd be. I just love him.

How do you feel about the Branson sisters being such a big part of the Saturn universe now? It's been floating around that you and Chloe are quite good friends on Twitter.

I really love the Branson sisters! All three of them! I do have contact with Chloe a lot via social media, e-mail, texting, etc. After the SAS lockdown ended, a lot of Saturnites were so awful to those girls, and I used my vlogger status to become an advocate for them. I think the SAS fans are finally accepting them, though, which is awesome because they're awesome people. I'm honored to call them my friends.

Which of your vlog posts have been your favorite to present over this whole Saturnite journey?

The early posts were the most fun because everyone depended on me to find the gossip! The guys weren't well-known, so I had to dig into the depths of the internet to find something to share. I once did a segment on Benji as a waiter (with pics included), and there was one segment where Noah dressed up as Frankenstein and roamed the streets in his hometown on Halloween day. Tate recorded it. Hilarious. Those videos went viral thanks to my channel (which I'm sure Noah doesn't like hahaha). Of the more recent vlog posts, I laughed hysterically over Jules's "cosmetic surgery." It's even funnier now that I know him! ;)

Have you gotten to see the boys perform live yet?

Not yet but I did receive a happy birthday phone call from one of the SAS boys... and by "birthday phone call", I mean yes, he sang to me... but that's MY little secret for now!

Who is your second favorite Saturn boy?

Oh, I hate to choose because I adore them all, but I'd have to say Milo. He's such a sweetheart. But I'm biased - I get all the inside scoop from Chloe, so I know how charming and romantic he is behind the scenes!

Last question, what rumors/secrets are floating around the Saturn atmosphere that you can tell your fellow Saturnites to be on the look out for?

Well, anyone who has followed the lockdown gossip knows that 2/5 of the SAS boys have found love. What Saturnites *don't* know is that 3/5 of SAS is currently taken! The guys also have a new album artist/merch designer (any guesses?), and rumor has it that the boys will be spending spring break in California! I'm so excited!

Well, thank you so very much for joining me today! If we ever need to clear up some rumors about what's going on on planet Saturn, you'll be the first person we come to!

2) My sister is in the process of formatting MMH for paperbacks, and then she's moving on to Nook Press and outer e-book retailers so you non-Kindle users can get a hold of MMH as well as BTWD. Just bear with us a bit longer. If you don't want to wait for other e-formats, send me an e-mail (emilygodwin17 at gmail dot com), and I can get the file to you sooner!

3) Nikki has driven me crazy with One Direction's new single "Best Song Ever." She's obsessed. But it's okay because I really love the song (and 1D) too. #TeamZayn&Louis

4) I've started plotting MMH's sequel, which is being called Mutilated Time (for now and possibly for good). Nikki gave me a release date of February 1st, 2014 "at the latest", but she said it's not set in stone. But it's definitely in the works! :)

5) And speaking of Nikki and boybands... American Girl On Saturn is out next month! I'm so excited for it because I adore this book, and I adore the boyband Spaceships Around Saturn, and Milo is hottttt! If you want a sneak peek of this awesome book, go buy mine... and once you finish it, you'll find something awesome at the back of the book! ;)

Have a great weekend!!

Mutilate My Heart Week - Meet Nightmare!

In honor of Mutilate My Heart Week at YA Confessional, my sister Nikki & I are hosting character bios on our blogs as well.

Mutilate My Heart, a YA paranormal Romance, is currently available on Amazon for Kindle! Other formats will be released soon. Head over to YA Confessional to meet the bassist of Mutilated Arteries, Sketch, then venture over to Nikki's blog for a bio with rhythm guitarist, Corpse.

Personally, I chose Nightmare because I have a soft spot for him and his brother Banshee, who was pissed off and refused to do a bio.

Character bio with Nightmare

Name: Nightmare

Birthday: March 21st

Favorite color: Navy blue

Favorite band: Bleeding Sirens

Favorite article of clothing: A Bleeding Sirens hoodie. It's been worn to death.

Favorite movie: Any of the Saw movies (Yeah, I know, Banshee. I stole your answer.)

Favorite city to tour: Fairview, NC

Favorite thing to do while not touring: Just hanging with the guys. They've been my family for far longer than anyone would ever know.

Favorite MA song to perform live: Urban Evil

Best tour memory: Lying on a rooftop watching the sunrise with a really cool girl.

Best part of being famous: Getting to live my dream. I've always wanted to perform music, and now I feel like I'll be doing it forever.

Worst part of being famous: We hardly have any time to rest. We sleep every chance we get, but that isn't often.

Fangirl Friday: My favorite fictional surfer! (Miles Garrett)

Fangirl Friday is simply that. It's your chance to completely fangirl (or fanboy) over anything you want! It can be a book, a movie, a band, a song, music in general, a tv show, your favorite type of coffee, your favorite earrings, or silver glitter! Have fun. Be creative. Share the things that make you happy!

There are few things hotter than a Friday in June in Mississippi. Miles Garrett, from my sister Nikki Godwin’s book Chasing Forever Down (which is 99 cents for the month of June. So hurry up and get it!), is amongst those few things.

Miles is gritty and rough and real. He hangs around with the real deal surfers of Horn Island and is one of the West Coast Hooligans <3. He’s got more heart than all the surfers hanging around Crescent Cove and the majority of the guys in Horn Island. (Topher Brooks is a close rival, though!) Miles is an underdog who’s had to fight for everything in his life, and deep down, he really needs a hug (which I would gladly give him! All day, every day!).

If you’re on Miles’s good side, he’d do anything for you. Get on his bad side or try to surf in his territory and he’ll beat the hell out of you without a second thought. And trust me…he’d win.

He is my absolute most favorite character out of any book ever written! You NEED to go buy Chasing Forever Down, so you can see how amazing he is for yourself! (And if that isn't enough awesome surfer-ness for you, check out Nikki's blog today for an awesome video of her favorite *real life* surfer!)

Happy reading!

Writing What's In Your Heart

There are always people who aren't going to like what you write. They could just not like a certain character, the plot, or some dramatic twist you put in. Should that change how you write? No.

You can write the most perfect character ever created, and there’s going to be that random person who has something bad to say about him/her. There are some people who like reading contemporary better than fantasy or paranormal, and somehow, they’ll stumble across your fantasy or paranormal novel every time and have something bad to say about it because they didn't take the time to read the blurb. If I gave my sister, Nikki, a fantasy novel, she’d more than likely hate it. She has to rationalize everything (which is okay! She helps me find all kinds of messed up stuff in my books because of it), but fantasy novels aren't her thing, and paranormal isn't really so much either.

The most recent book I wrote has a very big twist in it. Some people will think it’s genius. Others will be highly upset by it. I am thankful for every person who buys and reads my books, but at the end of the day, I write for me. I write because there are characters who talk to me and tell me things that I think the world should know. I write because it makes me happy.

I don’t write to please every single person who may read my book. I don’t write to get traditionally published. I write for me and that one person who is going to love the twist in my book and love my characters.

The very best stories you will ever write are the ones that are in your heart. Those stories will torment you until you have them on your computer in a finished manuscript. Write for you and for those characters because someone somewhere will find them and love them.

Fangirl Friday: Nightmare, from MUTILATE MY HEART

Fangirl Friday is simply that. It's your chance to completely fangirl (or fanboy) over anything you want! It can be a book, a movie, a band, a song, music in general, a tv show, your favorite type of coffee, your favorite earrings, or silver glitter! Have fun. Be creative. Share the things that make you happy!

Every writer has been a fangirl/fanboy for one of their own characters. I am no exception. I was going to write all about this character of mine named Elijah. He’s this amazing fifteen-year-old violinist who happens to be a ghost, but I’ve been #TeamNightmare all day. It’s only fitting to right about him since my second book, Mutilate My Heart (that Nightmare’s in), comes out on July 9th!

Nightmare is the lead singer of punk-rock band Mutilated Arteries. He’s the oldest and most mature of the five guys. He often pisses people off because he has rules, and he expects his rules to be followed. He only makes exceptions for his brother Banshee. Nightmare truly thinks he’s doing what’s best for everyone when he tries to enforce the rules in his ‘Mutilated Arteries Handbook.’ He hides his own dark secrets and wants to make sure that no one else ends up hurt like he did. He really is a good guy. It’s his brother you need to watch out for. ;-) I can't wait for you guys to get to know him better in the sequel AND prequel!

I’ll save Elijah for another week! Who knows, you may get a short cameo from him in Mutilate My Heart! <3

Cover Reveal: AMERICAN GIRL ON SATURN by my sister Nikki (AND a snippet!)

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you already know my sister, Nikki. And there's also a chance that you've heard mention of a book called American Girl On Saturn, known on Twitter as #SAS (for Spaceships Around Saturn, if you're curious). This book will be is set for release on Thursday, August 29th, 2013, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS! You want this book. Trust me. You need to meet Spaceships Around Saturn, and you need to fall in love with Milo Grayson because this boy is hotttt! (If you scroll to the bottom, you get a special surprise...)

And, the purpose of this post... cover reveal!

American Girl On Saturn by Nikki Godwin
Release date: August 29th, 2013

The summer after graduation is supposed to be that first real taste of freedom - but not for eighteen-year-old Chloe Branson. Just as that breeze of freedom is making its way into her galaxy, her secret-service-agent dad drops a meteor-sized bomb of bad news on her and her sisters. An attempt has been made on the lives of Canadian boyband, Spaceships Around Saturn, during their USA tour, and the guys have to go into hiding ASAP. The only problem? In the midst of the crisis and media frenzy, their dad volunteered to hide the guys...in their house.

Six-year-old Emery is as ecstatic as any self-proclaimed Saturnite would be, but Chloe and her seventeen-year-old sister Aralie watch their summer plans crash and burn like a falling star. The SAS guys aren't happy with the situation, either. Bad boy Jules picks fights with Aralie about everything from his Twitter followers to his laundry, and heart-throb Benji can't escape Emery's fangirlisms for more than three minutes.

But after the super-cute Milo kisses Chloe during a game of hide-and-seek, she finally understands what Emery means when she talks about SAS being "out of this world." If this is what Saturn feels like, Chloe doesn't want to come back to earth.

And because Nikki is my sister, my cover reveal has something that no one else's will... a small snippet from American Girl On Saturn!

He reaches toward the tray and grabs the lone Oreo. “Okay, this is my last one for the night,” he says. “Half it with me?”
Seriously? If I wasn’t the envy of every Saturnite in the world just by sitting across the table from him, I’m definitely the envy of them now because the Milo Grayson wants to half his precious Oreo with me. And the thing that sucks the most is that no one knows about it to be jealous of me!
He holds the cookie up and waits for a response.
“Yeah, we can half it,” I say.
I reach across the table for it, but he jerks his arm back. The sleeve of his T-shirt hugs his bicep tightly, and oh how I wish to be that fabric.
“Not so fast,” he says. “Let’s make it interesting.”
Could this be any more interesting? Hello – you’re gorgeous and famous and sharing cookies with me! Any more ‘interest’ and I might burst like a firework.
“If you get the side with the cream, I’ll give you my honest male opinion about your checkout line drama today,” he says. “But if I get the cream side, you have to tell me, honestly, who you think the best looking guy is in Spaceships Around Saturn.”
Oh God. He’s for real. Does he know? He totally knows. He knows I’m lusting for him from behind this glass of milk and tattoo magazine. He knows that his eyes make me melt and that I clearly watch him on Twitter because I know all about amazzzzzing. Now he wants to make me ‘fess up.
“Deal.” I say it before I can chicken out.

You read it here first! Go hit up Nikki's blog, Twitter, and Facebook page for more updates and teasers from now until release date. And add this book as "to read" on Goodreads!
